Overview of Grenada
Nestled deep between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, to the extreme South of the Caribbean chain, below the hurricane belt, is the hidden unspoilt gem Grenada, also known as the Pure Grenada. Grenada is a Tri-island state which consists of the mainland Grenada, Carriacou and Pettit Martinique, with the size of 344 square kilometers (132.8 sq mi) and a population of approximately 110,000. Since Grenada is located near the Equator, it experiences a year-round tropical climate, with average temperatures between 23 and 28°C.
